The CACFO Education Centre meets its aims effectively. It provides a good quality of education for its students who make good progress because the quality of the curriculum, teaching and assessment is good.
The CACFO Education Centre is a registered Independent School. Unlike most Independent schools, the CEC is run in partnership between the Charity Croydon African Caribbean Family Organisation (CACFO) and Croydon Council's Department for Children, Young People and Learners (CYPL). The CEC is above all a community school. It functions in close contact with the local community in Thornton Heath, offering the use of the classrooms and equipment, ICT facilities, including fast internet links, and provides helpful advice to parents and young people on a range of services.
The vision of the school is to serve its community through the provision of high quality learning in the core curriculum for students aged between 11 and 16 years, to assist hem to make sensible choices for their future
